Midsummer Fair

Midsummer Fair comes to Midsummer Common from 24 - 28 June, bringing one of Cambridge’s longest-running traditions back to the city. With fairground rides, stalls, food and a lively atmosphere, it is a classic summer event for families, friends and anyone looking for a fun evening or weekend out.

The fair has deep roots in Cambridge, dating back hundreds of years, but today it has the feel of a modern travelling funfair. Visitors can enjoy the buzz of the rides, browse the market stalls and make the most of Midsummer Common as it fills with colour, lights and activity across the five days. 

Travelling by Whippet bus is a great way to get into Cambridge for Midsummer Fair, helping avoid busy roads and parking around the city centre. With Midsummer Common in central Cambridge and within walking distance of all our bus routes, it is easy to arrive, enjoy the fair and head home after a relaxed summer outing.
