Swavesey road closure - stops on T1 affected

Part of Station Road in Swavesey will be closed between 17 and 21 August 2026. Buses on Tiger 1 will be unable to call at the following stops during the closure:

• Chequers Court
• School Lane
• Wallman's Lane
• Whitton Close
• Swavesey Busway stop

Buses will call at stops between Huntingdon up to and including Rose & Crown Road, then normal route from Longstanton park & ride to Cambridge.

Bourn village bus stop closures

Due to the closure of Broadway near Bourn, buses on route 18/18a will be unable to call at these stops between 17 and 30 August 2026:

• Broadway
• Little Common Farm

All other stops will remain open. There may be some delays to buses caused by the diversion we're needing to use - we're sorry if this causes disruption to your journey.

Eddington Sainsbury's stop closure

The bus stops at Eddington Sainsbury's will be closed while construction work takes place in the area. Buses in Universal will instead call at temporary bus stops on Turing Way - look for the yellow temporary bus stop signs. 

All other stops will be served as normal.

Delays around Long Road, Cambridge

There are 3-way traffic lights at the junction of Long Road and Robinson Way in Cambridge - this may cause some delays to buses on Universal and X2/X3. We're working as hard as we can to keep buses on time.

B1046 road closure - bus stops in Abbotsley village and on Potton Road affected

Due to the planned closure of the B1046 between St Neots and Abbotsley village, as part of the wider A428 project, buses on route 18 will be unable to call at stops on Potton Road (St Neots) or in Abbotsley village between 17 August and 4 September.

Histon to Science Park Busway track closure

Part of the Busway track is closed for work to take place. Buses on Tiger 1 won't be able to serve the following stops on the Busway track:

• Cambridge Science Park
• CRC 
• Histon & Impington (towards Cambridge)

Buses will instead call at stops on King's Hedges Road (for the Science Park and CRC) and Cambridge Road, Histon.
