Histon to Science Park Busway track closure

Part of the Busway track is closed for work to take place. Buses on Tiger 1 won't be able to serve the following stops on the Busway track:

• Cambridge Science Park
• CRC 
• Histon & Impington (towards Cambridge)

Buses will instead call at stops on King's Hedges Road (for the Science Park and CRC) and Cambridge Road, Histon.

Milton Road, Cambridge, part closed

Part of Milton Road has been closed - buses on Tiger 1 will be unable to call at stops by Ascham Road or Westbrook Centre until further notice. Use stops on Victoria Avenue or Union Lane until the road re-opens

Newnham Road now open

Newnham Road has been re-opened and buses on Universal are back to normal route again.

University Open Days 2026

Cambridge is expected to be much busier than usual on 9 & 10 July, when prospective students and their families travel from across the country to explore the colleges and faculties to discover what the University has to offer.

If you're travelling in or around Cambridge, allow extra time for your journey or travel outside the Open Day dates.
