Out of the Ordinary

Out of the Ordinary Festival returns to Cambridge on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August, bringing a weekend of free outdoor arts, street performance and family-friendly entertainment to the city centre. Taking place across Cambridge’s historic streets and open spaces, the festival adds a burst of colour, humour and imagination to the August Bank Holiday weekend. 

Visitors can expect a lively programme of acrobatics, physical comedy, immersive walkabout acts, dance, music and eye-catching performances from both international and local artists. With activity around the city centre and Christ’s Pieces, it is a great event for families, friends and anyone who enjoys stumbling across something unexpected while exploring Cambridge.
