Strawberry Fair

Strawberry Fair returns to Midsummer Common on Saturday 6 June 2026, bringing one of Cambridge’s most colourful community events back to the city. The free, volunteer-run festival celebrates music, arts, creativity and local culture, with gates opening from 11am and entertainment running from midday into the evening. 

Across the day, visitors can explore a lively mix of music stages, family-friendly areas, arts, stalls, food, performers and community spaces. With its long-running Cambridge roots and relaxed festival feel, Strawberry Fair is a great day out for families, friends and anyone wanting to enjoy something a bit different in the city. 

Travelling by Whippet bus is a simple way to get into Cambridge for Strawberry Fair, helping visitors avoid the pressure of parking. Midsummer Common is just a few minutes walk from bus stops in Central Cambridge.
