The BIG Switch On

One of the highlights of Cambridge's Christmas calendar, The BIG Switch On fills Market Square with live entertainment, performances and festive activities before the city's Christmas lights are officially switched on.

Hosted by Josh Lovatt, the event attracts visitors from across the region and offers plenty of reasons to make a full day of it, from shopping and dining to enjoying the festive atmosphere in the historic city centre.

Market Square is within easy walking distance of central Cambridge bus stops for buses on Universal or X3, making this a great seasonal day out for the whole family.
