Free travel for those who serve in the armed forces

Whippet are offering free travel for members of the armed forces, veterans and cadets this Remembrance Sunday (9 November 2025) and Remembrance Day (11 November 2025). 

When you get on the bus, simply show the driver your Armed Forces ID card, Veterans ID card or badge. If you're travelling in your forces uniform, or have a Veteran Rail Card, this will also be accepted for free travel.. 

On both days, if it is safe to do so, our buses will pause at 11am to observe two minutes’ silence in memory of those who gave their lives in defending our nation.
